Thanksgiving Weekend in Morristown NJ

As Black Friday comes to an end, I must say it's been a great Thanksgiving in Morristown this year.  The weather couldn't have been nicer, so that's always good.  I celebrated with a friend's family and totally skipped the 'Black Friday' shopping.  That's my tradition! 

My neighbors at Parsons Village are doing something they call 'smoking'... It's a process where they cook the chicken on top of a full opened beer can.  The process cooks the chicken while keeping it nice and moist.  It's their Thanksgiving celebration tonight.  I may have to taste this chicken.

Service members have a chance to capitalize on a homebuyer tax credit extension that could earn them up to $8,000 towards Morristown NJ real estate. Members of the military who served for at least 90 days on active duty abroad and Foreign Service personnel who were on official extended duty between Jan. 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010 may be eligible for the tax credit.
